System Administrator – Corporate IT & Cloud

About the role

Air Apps is looking for a System Administrator to manage and maintain its corporate IT infrastructure across its Lisbon office. You will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation of cloud services, SaaS tools, and on‑premise systems while supporting employees worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure) and internal systems.
• Oversee user access, account provisioning, and identity management using tools such as Okta, Azure AD, and JumpCloud.
• Implement and maintain network security, endpoint protection, VPNs, firewalls and zero‑trust security models.
• Monitor hardware and software performance, troubleshoot incidents and automate routine operations.
• Maintain and support company‑wide SaaS tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian suite).
• Handle employee onboarding and off‑boarding, including account creation and deactivation.
• Enforce IT security best practices, including multi‑factor authentication and role‑based access control.
• Maintain software licences, compliance documentation and IT knowledge base.

Required profile

• Approximately 3+ years of experience in IT or systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based corporate environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with identity and access management tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
• Familiarity with endpoint management (Jamf, Intune, Kandji or similar MDM platforms).
• Understanding of network security, VPNs, firewalls and zero‑trust models.
• Experience automating tasks with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
