Supply Planning Analyst

About the role

The Supply Planning Analyst will collect, analyse and interpret supply chain data to support operational efficiency, cost optimisation and strategic decision‑making for ITW Global Brands Canada. You will work closely with sales, production, logistics and external suppliers to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely delivery of finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales and market demand data to set inventory targets, reorder points and safety stock.
• Develop and maintain Market Rate of Demand (MRD) tools using historical trends and seasonality.
• Coordinate with production teams to align manufacturing schedules with demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory to reduce stockouts, obsolete and slow‑moving stock.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance and Logistics to align inventory plans.
• Prepare and present inventory performance reports, KPIs and insights.
• Schedule inbound shipments, support transportation planning and liaise with freight carriers.
• Assist with regulatory compliance, environmental fee reporting and audit documentation.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of data‑analytics experience, preferably in supply chain or operations.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and collaborative.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with continuous process improvement.

Required skills

• ERP systems knowledge (preferably JD Edwards).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
