Supply Planner – Manufacturing

About the role

The Supply Planner reports to the Supply Supervisor and ensures that raw materials and components are available to support multi‑line production. The role balances demand forecasts with inventory levels, coordinates with domestic and overseas suppliers, and helps keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze demand forecasts and create supply plans aligned with production schedules.
• Secure timely deliveries of raw materials and components from local and overseas vendors.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Monitor supplier performance, follow up on deliveries, and mitigate supply risks.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure alignment.
• Keep ERP and inventory data accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Identify performance gaps and recommend continuous‑improvement actions.

Required profile

• DEC or equivalent in operations management, supply chain, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or inventory management.
• Experience working with international suppliers and in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of S&OP processes and supply‑chain certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically AS400.
