Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist will help improve the performance, efficiency and maturity of end‑to‑end supply chain processes across planning, procurement, logistics and inventory management. Working closely with the National Supply Chain Manager, the role supports continuous improvement, standardisation and data‑driven decision‑making for GF Canada and its global network.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and optimisation of ERP and planning tools (SAP, BI, AI) and promote automation and advanced analytics.
• Maintain master data accuracy, conduct root‑cause analysis and ensure integrity of order, material and supplier data.
• Assist the S&OP process, analyse inventory performance, optimise stock levels and monitor vendor performance.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, sales and procurement teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Identify supply‑chain risks, propose mitigation actions and develop KPI dashboards (OTIF, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, supplier performance).
• Lead or support continuous‑improvement initiatives, process standardisation and digital transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management, business administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in supply‑chain planning or operations within an industrial or service‑oriented environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate across functions.
• Attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction.

Required skills

• SAP (super‑user capability).
• Business Intelligence tools for creating reports and dashboards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• ERP system principles and data‑management.
