Summer Customer Service Representative – Part‑Time

About the role

The LCBO is hiring enthusiastic summer Customer Service Representatives to work on‑site in Toronto from early May to early September 2026. This fixed‑term, part‑time position offers paid training on store operations, product knowledge and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the POS cash register system to process sales quickly and courteously.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, offering recommendations on wine, beer, cider and spirits.
• Collect donations for the Spirit of Sustainability charitable campaign.
• Participate in customer experience surveys and maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Receive, stock and face‑up merchandise, handling cases up to 40 lb (18 kg).

Required profile

• Comfortable working with teammates and customers in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada (valid SIN, student or work permit).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is a plus.
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check at personal expense.
