About the role
Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking currently enrolled post‑secondary students for a four‑month, fall‑semester internship (September‑December 2026). Interns will join one of several business teams—including commerce, technology, analytics, finance, marketing, communications, project management or human resources—to support real projects and gain hands‑on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Support team members on day‑to‑day tasks and larger initiatives within your assigned functional area.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports or presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of financial models, marketing materials, communication plans, or technology solutions as required.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and contribute innovative ideas.
- Participate in coaching, mentoring and professional development activities offered by EDC.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program (undergraduate or graduate) in commerce, business, technology, analytics, finance, accounting, marketing, communications, project management, human resources or a related field.
- Previous work‑term or co‑op experience in a relevant discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with good organisational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of both official languages (English and French) is an asset and may be required for some positions.
