Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for experienced strategy consultants to help shape AI learning environments. In this freelance, remote position you will translate real consulting engagements into structured tasks and evaluation frameworks that train advanced language models.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic consulting project scenarios, including industry context, financial data, constraints, and ambiguous inputs.
• Break projects into discrete, AI‑compatible tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy, and operational diagnosis.
• Develop grading rubrics, evaluation criteria, and golden‑answer solutions for each task to enable large‑scale LLM‑based assessment.
• Collaborate with the AI team to ensure the created environments align with the overall training pipeline.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on project experience at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Comfort presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain situations.

Required skills

• No deep technical background is required; training on the lightweight tools used will be provided.
