Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for experienced strategy consultants to help design realistic consulting project environments that train and evaluate advanced AI systems. This freelance, remote position focuses on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning scenarios for generative models.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed project scenarios that reflect industry context, financials, constraints, and incomplete information.
• Design discrete consulting tasks (e.g., market sizing, cost optimization, growth strategy) that mirror actual consulting work.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics, and golden‑answer solutions for each task to calibrate LLM‑based assessment tools.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to ensure the tasks are compatible with lightweight tooling.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at a top‑tier firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under pressure.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.
