Stores Attendant

About the role

The Stores Attendant supports the Grey Nuns Community Hospital by handling the picking, packaging, shipping and receiving of a wide range of materials, supplies and equipment. This position operates under the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement and provides essential logistical support to keep the facility running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare items for internal distribution and external shipment.
• Package supplies and equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to fulfill material requests.

Required profile

• Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent.
• Ability to work varied shift patterns, primarily day shifts.
• Willingness to adhere to the terms of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.
