Store Operations Associate – Full-Time

About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking a motivated Store Operations Associate to join its Sioux Lookout location. In this full‑time position you will help deliver a great customer experience while supporting the day‑to‑day running of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service across assigned departments.
• Oversee daily store operations, including pricing, SKU management, sign and label printing, and RF unit usage.
• Order, receive and replenish merchandise, and conduct inventory activities such as cycle counts.
• Train and communicate policies and procedures to department associates.
• Supervise a team, ensure cross‑functional collaboration and compliance with Giant Tiger systems.
• Handle customer complaints, opening and closing duties, and loss‑prevention practices.
• Support the store owner/manager with scheduling, projects and community engagement.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of retail management or key‑holder experience.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Strong planning, organization and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Operation of RF unit for inventory management.
