Store Manager

About the role

We are recruiting a Store Manager for our client’s Edmonton store. The role is full‑time and permanent, responsible for driving profit, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve agreed financial targets and maximise store profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company operational and financial procedures.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales plans with regional support.
• Recruit, train and develop store staff, conduct appraisals and personal development plans.
• Maintain store cleanliness, health and safety standards and oversee any repair or maintenance issues.
• Manage staff rotas, monitor performance, improve conversion rates and mystery‑shop scores.
• Accurately record enquiries using the CMS and produce timely reports.
• Handle cash, account for all monies and ensure compliance with company checklists.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyse local market conditions.
• Leadership skills to coach and develop a diverse team.
• Attention to health, safety and store presentation standards.
• Ability to manage budgets, rotas and store performance metrics.

Required skills

• Experience using a Content Management System (CMS) for recording enquiries.
