Store Manager – Automotive Parts

About the role

The Store Manager leads both the retail and wholesale sides of the auto‑parts shop, ensuring a seamless experience from the moment a customer walks in or places an order to final fulfillment. This role combines people leadership, inventory oversight, and sales strategy to drive store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train new employees to build a high‑performing team.
• Coach and mentor staff, maintaining the Fat Guys brand experience for every customer.
• Schedule staff to match seasonal demand and adjust coverage for absences or volume spikes.
• Oversee order processing, parts sourcing, timely delivery, and returns, using the POS system as needed.
• Manage inventory control measures, ensuring stock accuracy and an organized work environment.
• Drive sales performance by setting targets, motivating staff, and executing retail and wholesale sales strategies.
• Control variable expenses, including payroll, maintenance, inventory adjustments, and marketing activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of management experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket parts business.
• Strong work ethic and proven leadership abilities.
• Enthusiastic personality with a desire to build a reputable, profitable store.
• Ability to enforce company policies and maintain high customer service standards.
