Store Associate (Part-Time)

About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join our store team in Fredericton. As a Store Associate you will help customers enjoy a great shopping experience while supporting daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout systems.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot‑selling items, complete markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signage standards.
• Perform cycle counts when required.
• Ensure compliance with tobacco and lottery policies.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and keep the checkout area clean and organized.
• Adhere to loss‑prevention best practices.
