Store Associate – Hardware Department (East)

About the role

The Store Associate in the Hardware Department (East) works in a fast‑paced retail environment, providing friendly and courteous service to customers while maintaining the store’s appearance and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and over the phone, assist them and recommend related products.
• Stock shelves, label items, face merchandise and keep the sales floor clean and organized.
• Perform inventory hole checks to ensure accuracy.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions.
• Follow health and safety regulations and store policies.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical capability to stand, walk and lift items for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Approachable, solution‑focused and able to work in a fast‑moving environment.
