About the role
We are looking for a Steel Stud Framer to join our carpentry team at K‑W Drywall Services Ltd. The role involves working on commercial and residential construction sites in London, ON, handling steel and wood framing tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel components.
- Maintain a safe work environment by using required safety gear and adhering to site safety protocols.
Required profile
- Team player with 1‑to‑7 months of framing experience.
- Physically capable of bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads and working at heights in noisy, dusty conditions.
- Willing to travel regularly and work early‑morning to day shifts.
Required skills
- Measuring and cutting framing materials.
- Shaping, assembling and joining wood and steel components.
