Steam Press Operator – Laundry & Dry Cleaning

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Steam Press Operator to join our laundry and dry‑cleaning facility in Québec. You will be responsible for finishing garments and linens using steam press equipment and hand‑irons, ensuring every item meets our quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Hand‑fold and bag shirts, sheets and other articles after washing or dry‑cleaning.
• Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand‑irons to press pants, jackets, shirts, skirts and other garments.
• Perform touch‑up work with hand‑held steam irons on finished items.
• Inspect finished articles to verify they meet establishment standards.
• Match invoices or tags with the corresponding dry‑cleaned or laundered items.

Required profile

• No formal degree required; a certificate or diploma is not mandatory.
• Experience in a laundry, dry‑cleaning or similar environment is an asset.
• Ability to work in a hot environment and on a day shift.
• Availability to start on the date indicated in the posting.

Required skills

• Operation of steam press equipment.
• Use of hand‑irons and hand‑held steam irons.
