Statistics Professor (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Statistics Professor to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves providing authoritative, well‑explained answers to advanced statistics queries and supporting AI model development with high‑quality reference responses.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, detailed responses to complex statistics questions.
• Review and validate statistical data, queries, and solutions for completeness.
• Develop comprehensive explanations and justifications for statistical concepts.
• Collaborate with annotation leads and project managers to refine requirements.
• Create exemplary "golden responses" for AI model outputs.
• Document context and rationale to improve model interpretability.
• Participate in remote discussions or workshops to clarify objectives.

Required profile

• PhD in Statistics or a closely related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex concepts.
• Experience creating, reviewing, or publishing scientific or educational materials in statistics.
• Familiarity with probability theory, statistical inference, and Bayesian methods.
