Station Assistant Superintendent – Construction

About the role

The Station Assistant Superintendent supports on‑site construction management, ensuring work aligns with project specifications, safety standards, and schedule requirements. This role involves close coordination with the Superintendent, contractors, and subcontractors to keep the project moving forward efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising civil, foundations, structural steel, concrete, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Coordinate daily operations and communicate with the Superintendent, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Ensure all work meets local authority standards and applicable regulations.
• Supervise foremen and crews, track daily production, and monitor labour and equipment usage.
• Confirm manpower and equipment needs, proposing alternatives to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain schedule adherence.
• Maintain positive relations with owners, subcontractors, and the prime contractor.
• Prepare accurate daily reports, inspection records, and safety documentation.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent on production reviews, activity planning, and contract compliance.

Required profile

• Experience supervising on‑site construction crews and managing multiple trades.
• Ability to track production metrics and coordinate resources effectively.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and environmental guidelines on construction projects.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with diverse project stakeholders.
