Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator to support the Stakeholder Engagement Lead on the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project in Ontario. The role provides coordination, administrative and communication support throughout design and construction, ensuring stakeholder activities are tracked and communicated effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops, briefings and consultations, handling scheduling, agendas, materials, logistics and follow‑up.
• Maintain stakeholder contact lists, engagement records, issue registers and action trackers, ensuring information is current.
• Receive, document and respond to stakeholder questions, concerns and requests, working with technical teams to gather accurate information.
• Prepare presentations, briefing materials, reports, dashboards and meeting minutes in collaboration with subject‑matter experts.
• Track decisions, commitments and actions, flagging overdue or emerging issues for escalation.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Urban Planning, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Community Planning or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in stakeholder relations, project coordination, communications or government relations, preferably on infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Strong organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience maintaining databases, registers and document‑management systems.
