Staff Software Engineer, Full-Stack

About the role

Owner is looking for a mission‑driven Staff Software Engineer to help build the next generation of AI‑native tools for local businesses. This fully remote position lets you work from anywhere in the United States or Canada while collaborating with a fast‑growing product team.

Key responsibilities

• Build new products and features from concept to launch, ensuring modular, maintainable, high‑quality code.
• Own end‑to‑end project delivery, from design through shipping, while maintaining rigorous testing and design standards.
• Shape product direction by engaging with users and contributing to roadmap planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and elevate the technical expertise of the team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience building applications.
• Extensive Typescript experience.
• Proven ability to scale frontend (React, Next.js, Vue) and/or backend (Node.js, MongoDB, AWS) stacks.
• Background at a product‑focused startup, scale‑up, or technology company.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and leadership skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
