Sr. Director, Formulation Sales

About the role

Debut Biotech is seeking a senior leader to drive its formulation sales business. You will be responsible for securing and expanding strategic partnerships with prestige and masstige skincare brands, delivering breakthrough, science‑backed beauty formulations to market.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow relationships with key skincare brand partners as the senior commercial point of contact.
• Drive heavy outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for an assigned territory or account segment.
• Meet elevated revenue targets and ensure forecast accuracy and pipeline health.
• Manage the full commercial cycle from executive‑level contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation, award and purchase order.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision‑makers across R&D, product development, marketing and executive leadership.
• Leverage existing brand relationships to generate immediate, high‑value opportunities.

Required profile

• Senior professional with deep, established relationships across prestige and masstige skincare brands.
• Proven ability to open doors with major brands and hunt large‑scale new business.
• Strong track record of converting complex opportunities into significant revenue.
• Preference for candidates based in San Diego; remote candidates may be considered.
