Sr. DevOps Engineer (Engineering Productivity)

About the role

Point is building a category‑defining home‑equity platform and needs a senior DevOps engineer to drive engineering productivity. You will create internal tooling, ensure system reliability, and streamline the secure software development lifecycle while supporting AI‑native workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain developer productivity dashboards, metrics, and measurement frameworks.
• Instrument token consumption and model cost for AI coding agents to enable cost‑optimization.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and SOPs for all business and internal systems.
• Reduce friction in the Secure SDLC by streamlining SAST/DAST integration, compliance tooling, and security scanning.
• Manage, scale, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure for secure production environments.
• Build and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Evaluate and optimize AI model hosting on AWS Bedrock, including performance benchmarking and cost trade‑offs.
• Drive adoption and standardization of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor) across engineering teams.
• Partner with Security to deploy and operate SAST, DAST, and SIEM solutions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven track record of building tooling that improves engineering throughput and quality.
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
• Experience working in fast‑growing, remote‑first technology companies.
