Spa Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and organized Spa Receptionist to join Sointula Massage and Day Spa in Revelstoke, BC. This seasonal, part‑time position can lead to full‑time work and involves greeting clients, managing appointments, handling payments, and delivering high‑quality customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and direct them to the appropriate service areas.
• Provide basic information to clients and the public.
• Obtain and process information required for customer service.
• Operate the switchboard and telephone system, record and relay messages.
• Answer telephone calls, monitor mobile radio or telephone communications, and relay messages.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
• Prepare and send invoices, receive and issue payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain accurate client records, work logs, and calculate billing charges.
• Provide overall customer service and assistance throughout the spa.

Required profile

• Efficient interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work independently.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
• Team player with maturity and a professional attitude.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handling repetitive tasks while sitting, standing, or walking as required.
