Sous-chef – Banff Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a sous‑chef to join The Boss Kitchen & Bar in Banff. The role involves creating new recipes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring high‑quality food preparation for daily service and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Create new recipes for menu development.
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain standards.
• Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, as well as for special guests or functions.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies to keep inventory stocked.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
