Solids Control Field Leader (Remote, Canada)

About the role

The Solids Control Field Leader is the on‑site expert responsible for safe, efficient, and high‑performing solids control operations across Canadian job sites. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring equipment reliability and adherence to HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a crew of up to 10 Solids Control Technicians on rotating day, night, and swing shifts.
• Oversee daily field operations, including rig‑up, rig‑out, and equipment maintenance for shaker tanks, centrifuges, drying units, and pumps.
• Maintain operational readiness of all solids control equipment in the “backyard” of assigned sites.
• Travel domestically to remote locations, working 12‑hour shifts with overtime as required.
• Collaborate with fellow Field Leaders, Technicians, and Trainees to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Proven technical expertise in solids control systems and environmental processes.
• Ability to supervise and develop field teams in a high‑risk environment.
• Willingness to work 14 days on/7 days off or 20 days on/11 days off, with flexible shift patterns.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and basic knowledge of electrical principles.
