Solartis Architect

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with deep expertise in Property & Casualty commercial lines insurance and the Solartis Insure platform. The role is fully remote within Canada and will lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable solutions using Solartis Insure, Azure.NET, and ReactJS.
• Lead solution architecture, enforce code quality, and champion technical best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Design, implement, and manage integrations via REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and other Azure Integration Services.
• Support the full policy lifecycle, including submission, quoting, endorsements, renewals, and administration.
• Mentor development teams and communicate architectural decisions to both business and technology stakeholders.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience with the Solartis Insure Policy Administration Platform.
• Extensive background in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance (e.g., Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property, Package Policies).
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• Solartis Insure platform and microservices.
• Azure cloud services: App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, Azure DevOps.
• .NET, C#, ReactJS, SQL Server, Python FastAPI.
• REST APIs, event‑driven architecture, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation.
• BPMN 2.0, jBPM, enterprise integration patterns.
• AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
