Software Engineer

About the role

IBM Software is seeking a Software Engineer to work on distributed, cloud-native systems that enable AI-powered solutions for global clients. You will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable data integration platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain distributed, cloud-native applications and secure data integration pipelines.
• Architect end-to-end engineering systems and evaluate enhancements to the technology stack.
• Deliver large-scale, high-availability, low-latency services and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Improve stability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence of critical systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree preferred; BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of software development experience on large-scale, secure, highly available systems.
• Experience operating production services in the cloud and participating in on-call rotations.
• Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset.
