Software Developer - Mobile Team

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Mobile Team in Revelstoke, BC. You will help build and maintain a market‑leading health and nutrition tracking app that serves millions of users worldwide. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, performant mobile experiences using Flutter and native platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship new mobile features in Flutter for both Android and iOS.
• Write clean, maintainable Dart code and integrate it into an existing production codebase.
• Collaborate with senior mobile developers, backend engineers, product, design, and QA to turn ideas into polished user experiences.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and internal services, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Debug complex issues across the mobile stack, including UI behavior, performance bottlenecks, and production crashes.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and app release processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of client‑server communication, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.
• Attention to mobile UI/UX details, performance, reliability, and accessibility.
• Experience with modern development workflows such as automated testing, debugging tools, and CI/CD.
• Ability to take ownership of features, ask insightful questions, and deliver reliable results in a collaborative team.
