Social Media Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team in Canada. Working closely with the executive team, you will shape and execute our social media strategy to boost online presence and support sales initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Create, curate and publish engaging content, including graphics and short videos.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages and interactions in a timely manner.
• Analyse performance metrics, generate regular reports and optimise campaigns based on data.
• Identify and engage influencers and brand ambassadors.
• Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong writing, editing and communication abilities.
• Creative mindset with the capacity to think outside the box.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Residency in Canada.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hootsuite.
• Experience using Google Analytics for social media reporting.
