Skills Training & Competency Development Technician

About the role

As a Skills Training and Competency Development Technician, you will support the design, delivery, and quality assurance of training programs across the organization. You will act as a technical resource, helping teams evaluate needs, develop solutions, and maintain training tools and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a resource person and provide technical support for complex operational issues.
• Evaluate training needs, validate approaches, tools, and content.
• Conduct specialized technical studies, research, and analysis, and propose action plans.
• Roll out, maintain, and document software, manual, and automated processes.
• Train end‑users and prepare technical notes to enhance team skills.
• Help practitioners follow unit standards, processes, and business solutions.

Required profile

• College diploma in a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Fluency in French and intermediate‑advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and adaptability skills.
