Skilled Construction Labourer – Concrete Division

About the role

Surespan Structures is seeking skilled construction labourers for its Duncan plant, working within the Concrete Division. This full‑time, permanent position involves hands‑on work with concrete forms, rebar, and finishing tasks on bridge, marina and commercial building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle concrete forms.
• Fabricate and place rebar according to project specifications.
• Pour, level and finish concrete surfaces.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Interpret basic project drawings when required.
• Follow site safety protocols and report hazards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in concrete work or carpentry (considered an asset).
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety.
• Ability to work well in a supervised, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Forming and concrete finishing.
• Rebar fabrication and placement.
• Concrete pouring techniques.
• Use of construction tools.
• Reading simple project drawings.
• Site safety awareness.
