Skilled Carpenter – Full‑time Permanent Role

About the role

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join Toor Custom Framing Ltd in Calgary. This permanent, full‑time position involves working on a variety of projects ranging from residential renovations to installations in industrial settings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare labour and material cost estimates for each project.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and related hardware.
• Supervise apprentices, bench workers and other crew members.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in diverse environments such as mills, mines, hospitals and industrial plants.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on carpentry experience.
• Physically capable of demanding work and able to work evenings, mornings, days and weekends as required.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
