Skilled Carpenter – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a reliable carpenter to join our construction team in Edmonton. You will work on a variety of projects, from residential renovations to larger industrial builds, ensuring high‑quality craftsmanship and adherence to building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare labour and material cost estimates and tender quotations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Lay out building plans, measure, cut, shape and assemble wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate on‑site work, supervise apprentices and other workers.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in various settings.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of carpentry experience in construction.
• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Ability to work at heights, outdoors and handle heavy loads.
• Reliability, strong work ethic and adherence to safety standards.
• Own transportation and willingness to travel regularly.
