Skilled Carpenter – Construction Projects

About the role

LIVRIGHT LTD. is seeking a reliable carpenter to join our construction team in Calgary. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, performing both new builds and renovations.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in diverse settings such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of carpentry experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to various sites.
• Physical ability to work at heights, bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork.

Required skills

• Hand‑tool operation.
• Blueprint reading.
• Accurate measuring and cutting.
• Wood and lightweight‑steel assembly.
• Installation of windows, doors, stairs, and mouldings.
