Site Supervisor – Commercial/Industrial Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to manage day‑to‑day operations on a commercial/industrial construction project in Balzac. The role is contract‑based and involves coordinating multiple trades, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the project.

Key responsibilities

• Manage off‑shift construction activities and overall site coordination.
• Supervise subcontractors and keep the project schedule on track.
• Ensure compliance with Alberta Occupational Health & Safety regulations and site safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, identify deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Management team and external consultants.
• Maintain daily reports and comprehensive site documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and coordination abilities.
• Proven experience managing multiple trades in fast‑paced environments.
• Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as project demands.
• Valid safety certifications and a driver’s licence.
