Site Manager (Quarry and Paving)

About the role

Amrize is seeking a Site Manager to lead its quarry and paving operations. The role focuses on safety, production efficiency, and coordination with functional teams to deliver high‑performance results in a unionized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring compliance across all site contracts and projects.
• Manage aggregate production to meet sales demand and monitor KPIs for production, maintenance, storage, and distribution.
• Supervise local and national contracts and collaborate on capital investment projects with industrial performance teams.
• Plan and track financial performance, contribute to the annual budget, and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Forecast profitability, align inventory with sales, and support monthly inventory reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with the Certificate of Authorization, develop multi‑year mine plans, and manage community impact.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and supply‑chain teams to maintain inventory levels and optimize shipping schedules.
• Maintain environmental standards, oversee snow dump and recycled product handling, and represent the site in community and labor relations.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising operations, manufacturing, and maintenance teams in a quarry or paving environment.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work with unionized labor forces and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cost‑control.
