Site Lead – After School Program (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our After School Program team for the 2026–2027 school year. Site Coordinators oversee daily operations of an after‑school program serving children 4 to 12 years of age, creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, implementation, and daily operation of the After School Program.
• Deliver physical activity, recreation, nutrition, educational, and creative programming aligned with Ontario guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment and keep the program space clean and organized.
• Provide leadership and support to Program Coordinators, placement students, and volunteers.
• Assist staff with attendance, participant supervision, registrations, incident reporting, and program planning.
• Supervise participants and staff, respond to emergencies, and complete incident reports.
• Monitor daily attendance, manage participant records, and handle program supplies and inventory.
• Prepare and distribute nutritious daily snacks following food safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with families, school administrators, and community partners.
• Ensure Club policies are followed, apply positive behaviour management, and support conflict resolution.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, special events, and professional development as required.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma, or current enrollment in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Service Work, Recreation, Education, or related field.
• Experience working with children ages 4–12 in a structured environment.
• Strong leadership, organization, and program planning abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
• Current Standard First Aid & CPR‑C certification and successful police reference check.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
