Siding Installer

About the role

The Siding Installer will join Filmanwale Constructions in Edmonton to install and service exterior and interior prefabricated siding products. The role involves reading blueprints, measuring, and using hand and power tools on various construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install exterior prefabricated siding products according to specifications.
• Install interior prefabricated siding products and ensure proper fit.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair and service both exterior and interior siding components.
• Measure, mark guidelines and determine layout and installation procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, and erect scaffolding or other working platforms.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in siding installation.
• Physically demanding work with ability to handle loads up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability, punctuality, client‑focused attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Accurate measuring and marking for installations.
• Scaffolding erection and safe use of working platforms.
• Truck loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
