Side Loader Forklift Operator (Full-time)

About the role

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Side Loader Forklift Operator to support its Vancouver manufacturing shop. This is a full‑time, on‑site position working Monday‑Friday, 6 am‑2:15 pm (paid for 8 hours per day).

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a side loader forklift with custom attachments.
• Move and transport large modular wall panel systems.
• Remove completed units from the assembly line and load them onto shipping racks.
• Work closely with another operator to ensure smooth workflow.
• Complete all safety checklists, documentation, and tracking accurately and on time.
• Scan and track modules throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of recent side loader forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and live locally.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Experience with inventory tracking, scanning, or materials‑handling documentation.
