Shuttle Driver – Car Rental Services

About the role

Manpower Services Canada Limit is seeking a reliable shuttle driver to transport passengers for a car rental company in Eastern Passage, NS. The role involves operating a vehicle, communicating with passengers and dispatch, and ensuring safety and punctuality. Shifts include mornings, days and overtime in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents.
• Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two‑way radio systems.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
• Handle heavy loads up to 23 kg while loading or unloading.

Required profile

• Valid Class 5/5F/G driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to distinguish colours, attention to detail and hand‑eye coordination.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability and teamwork.
• Criminal record check and ability to handle loads up to 23 kg.

Required skills

• Class 5/5F/G driver’s licence (cars, small trucks and other 2‑axle vehicles).
• Proficiency with two‑way radio communication systems.
• Vehicle inspection procedures.
