About the role
The Shipping & Receiving Attendant is responsible for managing all inbound and outbound freight for the hotel, ensuring accurate documentation, safe handling, and timely distribution to the appropriate departments.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries, verifying invoices and receiving reports.
- Stage merchandise by department, label appropriately, and deliver to the correct area.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs, reconcile shipping invoices, and track all transactions.
- Handle incoming and outgoing packages and mail, ensuring safe storage and timely delivery.
- Secure the receiving area, follow hazardous material regulations, and report any loss or damage.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb and navigate confined spaces.
- Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
