Shipper/Receiver - 10 Month Contract

About the role

TTI Canada's Milwaukee team is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join its Factory Service Centre in Winnipeg. The role manages shipping and receiving of tools and equipment, ensures accurate logging into the computer systems and keeps processes efficient. It goes beyond basic pick and pack, and calls for a strong aptitude for technology and quick adaptation to new processes. The position is full-time, contract for 10 months.

Key responsibilities

• Log tools and equipment accurately into the system using computer software
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, making sure every item is documented and accounted for
• Maintain an efficient repair queue and prioritize key customers, with same-day shipment of completed repairs
• Keep the warehouse organized and safe, and complete instant repair and replacements
• Carry out inventory cycle counts
• Use technology to streamline operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support service centre operations

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum education)
• Shipping/receiving experience
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes
• Self-driven, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented, with good key-entry speed and accuracy, and able to work under pressure
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required
• Overtime may be required
