Shipper & Receiver – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Macrotek Inc. is seeking a reliable Shipper and Receiver to support daily warehouse operations. This full‑time, onsite position involves handling inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining an organized storage area, and providing light assembly and administrative assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, photograph items, and file packing slips.
• Prepare, package, and log outgoing shipments, creating packing lists and shipping documentation.
• Load and unload trucks, operate pallet jacks or dollies, and keep the warehouse space efficiently organized.
• Assist with purchase order preparation, vendor communication, and spare‑parts proposals.
• Perform basic facility upkeep such as changing light bulbs, removing trash, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.
• Support simple assembly tasks, including piping and wiring, using hand and power tools.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or shop environment (preferred).
• Ability to safely lift and move materials using appropriate equipment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Independent worker who can take initiative without constant supervision.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, inventory tracking).
• Valid driver’s license is an asset.
