About the role

As a Shift Supervisor you will support the Store Manager in delivering the Starbucks Experience during your scheduled shift. You will lead a team of partners, ensure smooth operations, and provide legendary customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high‑volume periods and model Starbucks values for the team.
• Anticipate customer and store needs, communicate relevant information to the manager, and adjust staffing or tasks accordingly.
• Assist with onboarding and on‑the‑job training, offering constructive coaching and feedback to partners.
• Oversee opening and closing duties, cash handling, and adherence to safety, security, and sanitation standards.
• Deliver consistent, high‑quality beverages and food items by following recipe and presentation guidelines.
• Foster a positive team environment by recognizing performance, addressing morale issues, and encouraging collaboration.
