Service Advisor – Jaguar Land Rover

About the role

The Service Advisor performs a combination of duties to increase customer satisfaction by building strong customer relations and maximising service sales and gross profit. This role is essential for customer retention and overall dealership success.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, listen to vehicle concerns and write accurate repair orders.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed legibly, obtain signatures and vehicle data.
• Schedule service appointments, monitor work‑in‑progress and communicate any delays.
• Review repairs with customers at vehicle delivery and suggest additional services when appropriate.
• Manage warranty verification, back‑order parts notifications and loaner vehicle arrangements.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of automotive equipment.
• Understanding of customer satisfaction and retention techniques.
• Ability to maintain records and generate reports using a computerized equipment maintenance system.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively at all organisational levels.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
