Service Advisor – Automotive Service Department

About the role

The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles to OpenRoad Lexus Richmond. You will manage repair orders, coordinate service work, and ensure a smooth, transparent experience from intake to vehicle delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, capture vehicle concerns, and create accurate repair orders.
• Obtain signatures, verify warranty coverage, and document all customer requests.
• Schedule service appointments, monitor work‑in‑progress, and communicate any delays.
• Review completed repairs with customers, handle complaints, and strive for win‑win resolutions.
• Assist with parts back‑order notifications, loaner vehicle coordination, and alternate transportation.
• Maintain a clean reception area and adhere to safety policies.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of automotive equipment and service processes.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is a strong asset.
• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence with a clean record.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work cooperatively across all organisational levels.
