Service Advisor – Automotive Service Department

About the role

The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting the service department, delivering exceptional service and guiding them through vehicle maintenance and repair processes. This role combines customer interaction, sales, and technical coordination within a fast‑paced dealership environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and over the phone, establishing a welcoming experience.
• Provide clear repair recommendations and explain the nature of required work.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the service lane efficiently.
• Sell labour, parts, and recommended maintenance to maximize service revenue.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service orders.

Required profile

• Strong aptitude for customer relations and service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CDK dealership software (preferred).
