SEO Strategist (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to join our agency on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. You will manage a portfolio of clients, develop and execute SEO strategies, and act as the primary point of contact for performance reporting and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse set of client accounts, ensuring a high‑quality, tailored client experience.
• Develop and supervise SEO strategies across multiple industry verticals.
• Perform keyword research, on‑page optimization, and content planning.
• Publish and update blog posts in WordPress, applying essential SEO adjustments.
• Analyze performance data using Google Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile, and SEMrush.
• Oversee technical SEO tasks such as 301 redirects and site optimizations.
• Train new team members on best practices and contribute to process documentation.
• Participate in small‑scale product development initiatives.

Required profile

• Legally able to work in Canada and based in Calgary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Excellent client communication skills, able to explain complex SEO concepts clearly.
