About the role
Huawei Canada’s Web Technology Lab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the next generation of web engine innovation. You will work on cutting‑edge architectures that enhance rendering of ArkUI and web content, collaborating with GPU driver and Chrome rendering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide insight on current web engine technology, evolution and design.
- Participate in the design and development of the next‑generation web engine, including helping formulate relevant standards.
- Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of a web engine that optimizes performance and resource consumption.
Required profile
- Familiarity with web engine development practices and security best practices.
- Experience with web layout, CSS styling, and JavaScript engine implementation as seen in Chromium or WebKit projects.
- Strong coding ability in C++ and comfort with Rust, JavaScript or TypeScript.
