Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Partner Integrations

About the role

As the founding backend engineer for ClickHouse Cloud partner integrations, you will define the technical foundations that let customers embed ClickHouse into the environments they already trust. You will own end‑to‑end integration solutions while navigating the constraints of external platforms and partner approval cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement authentication, identity flows, multi‑tenancy, data movement, and performance architecture for partner integrations.
• Operate and maintain the production systems you build, including on‑call responsibilities, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and observability.
• Work with external cloud and analytics platforms, clearly communicating risks and ownership boundaries.
• Collaborate with internal service teams to define interfaces, unblock dependencies, and document decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience, especially on data‑heavy or integration‑focused systems.
• Strong backend and systems instincts, comfortable reasoning about deployment topologies, multi‑tenancy, and data movement.
• Experience with modern authentication protocols, service principals, and identity federation across trust boundaries.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, ship early, and flag irreversible decisions.
